Nedi

Nedi is a piece of furniture specially designed to meet the needs of adults with ADHD.

ADHD is one of the most common psychological disorders in children and adults, however it is highly stigmatized and there are many misconceptions about the disorder within society. Nedi was designed together with adults with ADHD, but in line with the universal design concept it can also be integrated into the everyday working life of those not affected and thus ensures that fears of contact and prejudices are overcome.

Adults with ADHD can have trouble staying at the same place for long periods of time, they tend to get up and “search for dopamin somewhere else”. To intercept this behavior, Nedi offers a playful way to switch positions to meet the hyperactive needs of the user. It also let’s the user have tactile stimulation through the irregular textile structure which can lead to a longer and better focus.
