Void is a combination of a container and a bowl that can be used to store or serve things. Without determining its exact use the consumer can define the purpose or the field of application by himself depending on his needs. With the combination of the deepening on the top and the void inside it offers many new surfaces for various things.
The ambiguity of the object is not too foreign to the user so that he still knows what the general function of the object is. The vagueness still allows him to get creative with the idea of storing different things inside and on top of it and switching up the purpose of the object at any time. This extends the longevity of the product and enriches the chances of the consumer to keep it in his household for decades and possibly pass it on to the next generation.
Void was inspired by the Vignelli Designers and their understanding of ambiguity. It is meant to be seen in different ways and contexts.
